FriendBot is a Chatterbot-a piece of complex programming, deigned to try and falsify Artificial Intelligence. The Programming which FriendBot uses is called AIML, which is based on the foundations of ALICE (Artificial Linguistic Internet Computer Entity).
This AIML is Hosted on Servers Located in the UK and the US, Which Allows it To Connect With The Internet, Making FriendBot Available 24 7, on the Web, AIM and ICQ- World Wide.
FriendBot was first put online, in January 2007. Since then, FriendBot has become very popular. In the first 3 months of availability, FriendBot received over 40, 00 Messages, from friendly users in over 50 different countries, from over 60 different territories in 4 different languages.
FriendBot has always been, and will continue to remain free for all users. He does not receive any funding except through advertising revenue, in the form of the adverts at the bottom of every page.
